My first career was in modern languages and, as I’ve extended my studies to history, I am particularly interested in French crime history. I started my research with one of the country’s most prolific serial killers, whose violent acts were similar, to a certain extent, with the unknown murderer, Jack the Ripper. Also, the investigation into these shocking crimes led to an international initiative which still exists today.
